Don Curren: I am a retired journalist. I worked at the Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, Reuters and a variety of daily newspapers across Canada. This blog represents my reflections on a wide range of topics. Current in the sense of recency, but also to indicate that the conclusions reached - if any - are always tentative, never final. In addition to practicing the dark art of journalism for much longer than a sensible person would, I studied philosophy at the University of Toronto and obtained a Master's degree in that discipline.
